Our club is dedicated to providing a fun and engaging environment for all members to socialize, learn new skills, and develop lasting friendships. ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE: We are an evening Rotary Club that is geared for the young and “young at heart”. We meet for drinks and dinner at 6:00 – 7:30 PM to listen to engaging speakers, plan service opportunities, and enjoy each other’s company. Aside from our weekly meetings, we also have socials, fundraising events and parties, and service opportunities that members and guests can volunteer for. If you are looking for a club that is geared for professionals who work during the weekdays, and want to give back to your community after work or on the weekend, then the Rotary Club of Novato Evening is for you.
WHAT WE DO: Our club was formed in June 2017 and we have been steadily growing and have recently chartered (2/2024). Our growing club plans hosts fundraising events, large and small, to raise money for our Foundation, participate in community events to create an understanding and build a relationship with the people and businesses we serve, and do lots of local service! Some of our latest service projects include collecting blankets, toiletries and school supplies for families in need in Fiji, planting trees for the County of Marin, helping Marin Humane with the events and assist beautifying the campus inside and out, parking cars for North Marin Community Services events, helping Rise Against Hunger pack food to be shipped to third world countries, furnish/decorate new homes for the Butte County Fire victims, assisting North Bay Children's Center with the landscaping of their new campus and more! We will be working with many local charities and have lots of exciting events and service opportunities being planned for the upcoming year including helping Pep Housing with setting up smart homes for their seniors, setting up a Golf Tournament to raise money for Wounded Warriors, delivering food to homeless shelters for ExtraFood.org, and volunteering at the local Food Bank and other events when we can. And you can't miss our annual signature fundraiser, LOLOMA FIJI! We Partner with a non-profit, 61Coconuts, to plan an amazing night of dancing, silent & live auctions, dinner and raising funds to help the families in need in Fiji!
JOIN US! The best way to become a member of our club, or to simply see what we are all about, is to join us for a meeting. We meet every first and third Monday of the month at 6 pm at Sam’s Place, 1545 S. Novato Blvd., Novato. We hope to see you there!
